Tickets have arrived!

Very exciting news - the JR passes and Ghibli museum tickets have arrived! 

Due to date confusion with the travel agent though, she put the wrong date for the museum but with 6 weeks to go it was easily fixed and reissued!  I hope I don't get too confused when trying to give the exchange order over for the actual JR passes - please speak decent English at the counter!

DisneySea tickets also purchased online yesterday and new camera lens (Canon 18-135mm STM) arrived and I can't wait to test it out more and practice getting better shots so I am semi-pro by the time we get to Japan haha

Cherry Blossom Forecast is in!

According to Japan-guide, it seems that we should be there at the optimal hanami time (flower/cherry blossom viewing)! 

Now to get a decent zoom lens for my camera so I don't have to change lens all the time!!  There will be tons of photos taken if the other holidays are any reference :D

A little early...

Yes this is very early days but according to Jetstar we have 82 days until we fly out and I'm already excited!!  Ben on the other hand, not so much but I guess it's a guy thing.

Getting into the Japanese/holiday mood with pics like these though :D
