Went to the Hida Folk Village today and it was about 5 degrees!!! Love the old school tools and the thatched houses! There were a few old games you could try and of course Ben was good at the balancing on the wooden stilts!
After that we went to the craft centre and I made my own Sarubobo doll (happy monkey baby) and Ben made a snow globe... Yes the Sarubobo guy is riding the swan haha
These Sarubobo dolls are everywhere in all sizes - so cute! The ladies used to make these dolls and give them to daughters for happiness and good fortune in life.
Also love the good engrish on the sign from one of the restaurants lol
